The Stress of Her Regard

   A novel about vampires, Greek myth, and Lord Byron? Tricky. It would be easy to go too far with this one, which most of the published covers did. I flipped the pose to give her a kind of "hanging upside down like a bat" look.
   
   The only place for some blood red turned out to be the publisher's ribbon at the bottom, but I think it works.
